How to set up an MCP server

  1. Open the extension popup → MCP Servers section.
  2. Click Add MCP server, enter a name and the HTTPS URL of your MCP endpoint.
  3. If the server requires OAuth, check the box and enter the Client ID and Client Secret. Authorization and token endpoints are auto-discovered.
  4. Click Authorize next to the server to complete the OAuth flow — tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically.
  5. When composing or replying to an email, expand the 🔌 Tools toggle and check which servers to include.
